Our commitment

Coffee & Tea Culture wants everyone to be able to read and enjoy our guides, whatever device or assistive technology they use. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the experience as the site grows.

Standards we aim for

We aim to align the site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical target. We won't claim perfection, but it's the bar we design and build toward.

What we do

Steps we take to keep the site accessible include:

  • Semantic structure: Meaningful headings, landmarks, and lists so screen readers can navigate pages logically.
  • Keyboard access: Interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with visible focus.
  • Readable contrast: We target AA colour-contrast levels for body text and key interface elements, in both light and dark surfaces.
  • Reduced motion: Animations respect your operating-system “reduce motion” setting, so effects are minimised if you prefer less movement.
  • Descriptive text: We add alternative text to meaningful images and write clear, descriptive links.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Older guides, embedded third-party content, and complex images may fall short of our target in places. We treat these as bugs and fix them as we find them — and your reports help us prioritise.

Feedback

If you run into an accessibility barrier on the site, or need content in a different format, please let us know. Tell us the page, what happened, and the browser or assistive technology you were using, and we'll do our best to help and to fix the underlying issue.
